Director, Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation

Gina’s nearly 25 years of college admission experience includes tenures as director of admissions at McDaniel College, director of college counseling at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Baltimore, and now proudly serves as director of undergraduate admissions and orientation at UMBC.

Gina’s commitment to access and inclusion has defined her work in college admission and transition on both sides of the desk. She has served regionally and nationally for a variety of organizations that seek to make a post-secondary degree possible for more students from all backgrounds. She has been active in NPEA (National Partnership for Educational Access), National and Regional ACAC (Association for College Admission Counseling), Next One Up, BridgEDU, Dell Scholars, Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, and many more.

Gina holds her Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Writing and a Masters of Liberal Arts from McDaniel College. Her MLA focused on Ethics, Religion, and Social Justice which continues to serve her across her professional career. She holds certificates of completion from The College Board’s Enrollment Leadership Academy and EAB’s Rising Higher Education Leaders Fellowship.
